The Fueling Creativity in Education podcast has interviewed over 60 renowned creativity scholars, respected practitioners, and passionate educators who have collectively shared over two-hundred tips promoting classroom creativity.

Cohosts Matthew Worwood and Cyndi Burnett reviewed and grouped these tips to identify TEN ACTIONS for Creativity in Education, which they share in this Summer 2023 Listen & Learn series.

The series also includes an online resource for educators who want to complete a 1-2 sentence summary of how they plan to implement each action during the academic year.

We took 200+ tips and grouped them into TEN ACTIONS for Creativity in Education.

Episode 0:Orientation

This episode serves as an orientation to the Listen and Learn Series. Cyndi and Matt discuss their approach to the 200+ tips shared by creativity researchers, scholar-practitioners, and educators and their plans to share them as part of a series of professional development.

Episode 1:Ask Questions

In this first episode of the Listen & Learn, Cyndi and Matt discuss “Ask Questions” – During the conversation, Cyndi and Matt revisit two tips shared by Dr. Joe Renzuli and Dr. Frank LaBanca and discuss how they represent the values they want to promote within the action of Ask Questions, which include asking open questions throughout the semester and joining students in a journey of discovery in response to unknown questions that arise during class discussions.
